“IT are musical special brew. Something you can’t get enough of once you start and before long you know you are going to get knocked on your arse” – live4metal
Inner Terrestrials (IT) announce the release of their long-awaited new album “Heart of the Free”, their first release since “Tales of Terror” in 2012. To celebrate the release, the band will be going live on their Facebook and YouTube pages to perform their first ever online album launch show, streamed from Overdrive Studios in Deptford on the 28th Feb.
This, their fourth studio album, was recorded live and direct at Studio Garage in Menilmontant, Paris with engineer Tristan Mazire, who has worked with the likes of Iggy Pop, Charles Bradley, and Foals to name a few. The lyrical themes of “Heart of the Free” deal with the current politics of climate change, truth decay and questioning propaganda as well as blind devotion to corrupt and profiteering authority.
iT!'s energy is most evident at their electric live shows, where their dedicated musicianship is coupled with their ability to compel the audience to move, no matter the genre.
